PAINTING AND MUSIC: DISCOVERING THE HIDDEN CONNECTIONS

Participants: All Campanella members and guests. Open to general public

This interactive lecture invites teenagers and adults to discover surprising connections between music, including the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, and the art of Pieter Brueghel the Elder.

Together, we’ll explore how Brueghel’s paintings and Bach’s music capture moments of everyday life, showing us that there’s something special and even magical in the ordinary. Through this journey, we’ll see how both music and art can lift us above daily routines and help us see the world in a new way.
